Overdrive Magazines @KPU Library
KPU Library now subscribes to many of our magazines on the Overdrive platform. Here are a couple of ways to find them.
You will need to be logged in with your KPU ID in order to access the contents on this platform.
To find a magazine by title, follow these steps:
1. First, locate the Overdrive Magazines platform by searching for it in our Research Databases on the library's homepage (kpu.ca/library).
2. Next, click the Access Database link to end up on the Overdrive landing page.
3. From here, search for your magazine by title, for example: Landscape Architecture Magazine.
If the magazine is available on the platform, it should open up with the most recent issue displayed. You may click the cover to "borrow" this issue, or use the drop-down to locate a different issue. Items that you "borrow" will be available for 3 weeks under the "loans" link in My account. There is no limit to the number of magazine issues you may check out.
Once the loan period has been reached, the issue will disappear from your account.
To browse the entire KPU Library collection on Overdrive, follow these steps:
1. Find the Overdrive Magazines landing page as described in the step 1 and 2 above.
2. From the landing page, use the Subject filter to locate magazines within a particular subject area.
You may also filter by audience type, or date added to the collection.

The resulting list is 9 magazines published in the last 30 days on home & gardens for adults.
