Too many results to choose from in your Summon search?
After you have searched with a few keywords or phrases that best describe your topic, learn to use the features in Summon to help you narrow the results to find the best items for your assignment.
1. Open the Quick Look to see an abstract or summary of the item. Is it related to your topic?
2. Use the Content filter to get only articles, or books, or other kinds of formats. What does your assignment require?
3. Use the Publication Date filter if you need to use recent information.
4. Focus on results from a particular field or discipline, using the Discipline filter.
5. Look at the Cited by and Related Articles for links to more results related to this article.
