Q. Can I show a YouTube video or other video from the internet in class?

It depends!

In some cases, you may be able to show content from an online, free platform such as YouTube, but there are requirements that it be a legally-uploaded copy and there is no stated prohibition against showing it.

Please note that in general, videos from on-demand, subscription platforms such as Netflix, Apple, Prime, etc., cannot be screened in class presentation. Some exceptions may apply.
